The problem of bone and joint disorders had become so prevalent that the
United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have proclaimed the years 2000 through 2010 as the “Bone and Joint Decade.”
Osteoarthritis affects an estimated 60 million people in this country. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID’s) have been the drugs of choice for joint pain and inflammation. They are among the most widely used drugs on the market.
NSAID’s have known side effects such as stomach irritation, ulcers, gastrointestinal hemorrhaging, liver and kidney damage, and skin rashes. There is also concern over NSAID’s destruction of cartilage and belief that they may accelerate the arthritis process.
One tablet provides:
- Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 100 mg
- Zinc (zinc amino acid chelate**) 10 mg
- Manganese (amino acid chelate**) 15 mg
- Glucosamine Sulfate 250 mg
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM®) 250 mg
- Boswellin®* (Boswellia Serrata gum Extract 65%) 100 mg

Active Ingredients:
Glucosamine – Stimulates the formation of connective tissue that give cartilage its tensile strength. Is a precursor to hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate, substances that give cartilage resilience.
Chondroitin Sulfate – A proteoglycan that is responsible for lubricating joint tissues giving them resilience and flexibility.
Phenylalanine – Aids chronic pain sufferers by preventing the destruction of endorphins and enkephalins, the body’s pain fighting hormones.
MSM - Arthritic patients taking MSM reported long lasting relief from pain and stiffness as well as reduced swelling and inflammation. MSM is necessary for collagen synthesis, increases blood circulation, and speeds healing.
