KEY INGREDIENTS:
Wintergreen and Chenopodium oils act as antiseptics. The essential oil of Wintergreen, being made up almost exclusively of methyl salicylate, is a precursor to common aspirin. Along with its analgesic effects, Wintergreen also has anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic, antitussive, astringent, carminative, diuretic and stimulant properties. Deep inhalation of its soothing aroma can clear the sinuses and stimulate the mind.
Chenopodium Oil is employed as an antiparasitic agent, especially useful for expelling roundworms and other parasites from the body.
Sweet basil oil is a stimulant that supports against tissue penetration. Compounds in basil oil have potent antioxidant properties for an antidote to poisonous insect or snake bites. Considered a "cooling" herb, it buoys blood circulation, while easing rheumatic pain and irritable skin conditions.
Goldenseal Root Extract is considered an antibacterial herb used as an alternative anti-catarrhal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent, bitter tonic, laxative and muscular stimulant. The astringent has notable effects on mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, the gastrointestinal tract, the bladder, rectum (when applied topically), and the skin. Goldenseal is very bitter, which stimulates the appetite, aids digestion and often stimulates bile secretion.
Carrot seed is a premier skin-healing oil regularly included in blends for dry and mature skin. The oil's high Caratol content provides skin-rejuvenating properties. Carrot seed oil has a formative effect on the epidermal skin cells, stimulating cell growth.
