KEY INGREDIENTS:
Literature indicates that Echinacea neutralizes hyaluronidase – an
enzyme produced by invading bacteria– thereby inhibiting bacteria’s invasion of
bodily tissues.
Goldenseal is reputed to be a strong, non-irritating antiseptic. It
is an excellent infection fighter that helps heal damaged tissue. Goldenseal
also contains berberine, a plant alkaloid with a long history of medicinal use
in both Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. Berberine extracts and decoctions have
demonstrated significant antimicrobial activity against a variety of organisms
including bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoans, helminths and chlamydia
Calendula Flowers reduce pain and acts as a soother for skin rashes
and diaper rashes. It is useful for relieving sprained muscles, bruises, leg
ulcers, varicose veins and swelling. It also speeds up the healing process and
minimizes inflammation. It is great for athlete’s foot, jock itch and ring
worm.
Myrrh Gum Resin is helpful for relieving gingivitis, canker sores,
gum disease and loose teeth. It is also used as an antibacterial and antiviral
for quick and natural healing. Myrrh is helpful for hemorrhoids, bed sores,
wounds, abrasions and boils.
Plantain leaf has been used on skin inflammation, malignant
ulcers, and externally as a stimulant application to sores. Applied to a
bleeding surface, AN- I Oil can support the body in arresting hemorrhage. When
rubbed on stings caused by insects, nettles and noxious plants, or as an
application to burns and scalds, plantain may afford relief and stay the
bleeding of minor wounds. Plantain contains allantoin, an anti-inflammatory
substance that kills germs, speeds wound healing and stimulates the growth of
new skin cells.
